Unwedding Like Wedding Fair

Not your typical wedding fayre… and that’s exactly the point.

Join us in the Herefordshire countryside for our next Wedding Fair at Drovers Rest — where wedding planning feels more like a laid-back festival than a tick-box exercise.

Expect:
– Festival vibes
– Roam-the-grounds venue tours
– Fire-cooked feasting (yes, actual good food)
– Handpicked crew of brilliant, non-boring suppliers
– 🦙 And yes… alpaca visits

No pressure. No hard sell.
Just inspiration, good people, and space to figure out what feels right for you.

Making wedding planning easier (and a lot more fun).

Date: Sunday 19 April 2026

Whole chicken roasting over flames and hot coals with smoke rising.

What makes this different?

No rows of white tablecloths.
No awkward sales pitches.

Instead, expect:

– A carefully curated crew of brilliant suppliers
– A genuinely inclusive, come-as-you-are atmosphere
– A relaxed, no-pressure way to plan your wedding
– Creative ideas that feel like you (not everyone else)

Add good music, great chats, and a drink in hand… and you’re getting the idea.

Who it’s for?

This fair is for couples who:

– Aren’t into copy-and-paste weddings
– Would pick great food over fancy favours
– Care more about feeling than formalities
– Like things a bit wild, a bit different, a bit them
– And want a wedding with personality

If traditional doesn’t quite fit… you’ll fit right in here.

Meet your people

You’ll meet a small but mighty group of:

– Independent, creative wedding suppliers

– Artists, makers, storytellers & problem-solvers

– Humans who care about ethics, inclusivity & doing things properly

Photographers who don’t shout “say cheese”, florists who embrace the wild, celebrants who tell your story, caterers who care about flavour, and stylists who aren’t afraid of colour, texture and personality.

No conveyor-belt weddings.

Why Drovers Rest?

Drovers Rest isn’t a blank canvas — it’s a place with history, grit and heart.

A working farm turned rebellious wedding venue, built slowly, ethically and intentionally over 15 years. Fires, stone, fields, stories and space to breathe.

It’s not for everyone.
But then again… neither are you
