We host Epic Festival Style Weddings on our Stunning 16th Century Organic Farm and Barns, near Hay-on-Wye, In Herefordshire
Gather your friends & family and celebrate your wedding in the countryside. Get back to nature and sleep under the stars at our family-run, organic farm in Hay on Wye. Enjoy home grown wild feasts, cooked fresh on open fires. Roam freely on 40 acres of farm, fields and forest, yours exclusively for your wedding celebration here with us.
The Farm would not look out of place in the South of France with all its glorious stone buildings! And with both Indoor and Outdoor spaces you don’t have to worry if the Great British Weather decides to rain on your day.

Would suit couples looking for a boho or festival style wedding, or couples who love nature, animals and those wild at heart lovers who are looking for something different. Dogs are most welcome to be part of the wedding party too. Here the gathering is as important as the nuptials. There are no round tables, with white linen table cloths, doilies, chair covers and lists of do’s and don’ts! Rather a sense of play, informality, style and creativity, a place buzzing with energy and ideas with a far richer experience for your wedding and your guests

Come join us Sat 16th of Nov 2024 or Sat the 22nd of Feb 2025 to see our venue in all it’s glory and meet some of our fabulous suppliers from our little black book of only the best. Best offers for those signing up on the day from all of us
You will be able to look around our ancient orchard, meeting some cute animals along the way, our beautiful woodland, the rustic barn, our courtyards and our posh barn. Prepare to be wowed by our spaces, our onsite accommodation and our warm and hospitable staff
Our fires will be going, showing you the magic of our fire cooking that your guests will enjoy and taste some of the food coming off the fires and our canapes.
Both events are free but ticketed so make sure to book your space as limited tickets will be available for both days

The Setting
Nestled at the foothills of the Black Mountains on the border of Wales & Herefordshire, The Barn at Drovers is located just outside the famous book-town of Hay on Wye.

Venue hire includes:
- Exclusive use of the farm and indoor and outdoor spaces. The venue is also available to hire for a weekend celebrations
- Use of two barns – a posh award-winning recently renovated stone threshing barn with underfloor heating as well as a rustic outdoor agricultural barn with a stunning courtyard that joins the two
- Capacity for ceremonies and receptions for up to 120 seated guests. More can be added in the evening or in a more informal setting
- All tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, glassware, sofas, vintage crates are provided
- Straw bales available for outdoor ceremonies
- Speakers and music system is available
- Set up of ceremony, dining and dance space are included
- Fully licensed and staffed bar onsite
- Licence until 11.30pm (for an additional cost we could have a later licence)
- Ceremony Licence for nuptials
- Fire pits for keeping cosy or evening marshmallow roasting
- Dog friendly & kids clubs available
- Minimum number of 60 people weekdays and 80 weekends

Food And Drink
Each of our weddings is designed individual to the couple. We work closely with all our couples to help make the most of the hidden gems on the farm and bring your dream wedding to life.
Known for our outdoor cooking, we love nothing better than cooking on open fires. We are passionate about growing food the proper way, so all our ingredients are seasonal, naturally grown, here on our farm or locally sourced, freshly prepared in our outdoor kitchen. Our Aim is to limit our food miles and waste, making your wedding footprint even greener. We cater for the wedding day plus weekend catering for your onsite guests if you are taking the venue for the weekend.
Our cool onsite bar with local drinks and cocktails will ensure your drinks needs are met. We are happy to customise to your vision eg. dedicated gin bar, special cocktails from our mixologist for the bride & groom and the bar can be stocked with your preferences.
Wedding Venue with Accommodation
36 of your guests can be accommodated onsite in our beautifully restored, old stone Drovers cottages. Or in one of our posh glamping safari tents, perched on decks with amazing rural views, all with underfloor heated bathrooms, wood-burners and electric blankets. If required up to 40 additional guests can stay on the farm in a pop-up bell tent village enjoying the wedding festivities with you.
Peak Season Wedding Prices
Check out our peak in season venue hire pricing for weddings. We will work closely with you to plan your dream wedding and menu with you. Uniquely customised to suit YOU as a couple. Our venue pricing is attached peak season Apr to Oct. Food packages for the day are from £67-£86 and Drink packages are from £15-£42. All completely customisable. Contact us for a brochure and detailed pricing. If you have a tighter budget but love our venue, do contact us to work with you to see how we can adapt things to fit into your budget. There will be changes to food and staffing but that will not compromise on the overall quality and experience.

Non-Peak Season Wedding Packages
