Enjoy home grown wild feasts, cooked fresh on open fires. Roam freely on 40 acres of farm, fields and forest, yours exclusively for your wedding celebration here with us.

The Farm would not look out of place in the South of France with all its glorious stone buildings! And with both Indoor and Outdoor spaces you don’t have to worry if the Great British Weather decides to rain on your day.

Would suit couples looking for a boho or festival style wedding, or couples who love nature, animals and those wild at heart lovers who are looking for something different. Dogs are most welcome to be part of the wedding party too. Here the gathering is as important as the nuptials. There are no round tables, with white linen table cloths, doilies, chair covers and lists of do’s and don’ts! Rather a sense of play, informality, style and creativity, a place buzzing with energy and ideas with a far richer experience for your wedding and your guests

The Setting

Nestled at the foothills of the Black Mountains on the border of Wales & Herefordshire, The Barn at Drovers is located just outside the famous book-town of Hay on Wye.

Venue hire includes:

• Exclusive use of the farm and indoor and outdoor spaces. The venue is also available to hire for a weekend celebrations
• Use of two barns – a posh award-winning recently renovated stone threshing barn with underfloor heating as well as a rustic outdoor agricultural barn with a stunning courtyard that joins the two
• Capacity for ceremonies and receptions for up to 120 seated guests. More can be added in the evening or in a more informal setting
• All tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, glassware, sofas, vintage crates are provided

• Straw bales available for outdoor ceremonies
• Speakers and music system is available
• Set up of ceremony, dining and dance space are included
• Fully licensed and staffed bar onsite
• Licence until 11.30pm (for an additional cost we could have a later licence)
• Ceremony Licence for nuptials
• Fire pits for keeping cosy or evening marshmallow roasting
• Dog friendly & kids clubs available
• Minimum number of 60 people weekdays and 80 weekends
